What's Arriving and Leaving Netflix in January 2017

Every month, Netflix giveth and they thanketh away. This is what is coming and going for the month of January.

To ring the new year in, Netflix has decided to bring us some classics along with a lot of original films, tv shows, and comedy specials.

On the film side, we are getting classics like Saving Private Ryan, E.T. The Extraterrestrial, Boogie Nights, and Braveheart. And that is just to start out the month. Later in the month, Netflix is bringing us It Follows, Camp X-ray, Roger Corman's Death Race 2050, and the horror comedy Halloweed. Netflix's own Coin Heist premieres January 11th.

Turning to TV shows, the 11th season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Season 4 of Bates Motel, and the 4th season of Ripper Street.

Of course Netflix has there own TV shows as well with Tarzan and Jane: Season One, One Day at a Time: Season One, and A Series of Unfortunate Events: Season One.

Last, but not least are the stand up specials. Jen Kirkman: Just Keep Livin’?, Jim Gaffigan: Cinco, and Bill Burr's new special, which has no name right now, are all premiering in January.

Netflix is also kicking a lot of good films, TV series, and documentaries to the curb as well. A lot of the 30 for 30 specials are leaving as well as a host of really good films. I am sure that they will be back, but I hate the fact that they may never come back again.
