What's It About?

Following an uneasy ceasefire between the humans and the cyborgs, Alex Sinclair (Sue Price) is making a living in the future working as a cybernetically-enhanced assassin for her boss Bernardo (Andrew Divoff). But when Alex accidentally targets the wrong man and kills the son of a major crime syndicate head, she finds herself on the run once again as every assassin in town comes to collect the bounty on her. And all the while, Alex has been seeing a woman in black watching her from a distance. Alex begins to think the Angel of Death is waiting to come for her.

Video/Audio

NEMESIS 4 looks really good. There is a very thin layer of film grain with some really nice detail. Colors are very strong with the golden hue found in the previous films being the main color here again. Skin tones look mostly accurate except for when they gain a yellowish hue. I really liked the way this transfer looks.

The sound, like the other films in the series, is fine. It gets the job done.

Albert Pyun uber Nemesis 4 (19m 38s, HD, 1.66:1) This is 19 and a half minutes from the film that has commentary over it from Pyun. I wish there was more here. I don't know why there isn't a full commentary track but I am happy that we got anything at all.
Artwork Galerie (1m 2s) autoplays with no sound
Nemesis 4 in 16:9 (1h 19m, HD, 1.78:1) This the same version of the film as the main version just without the matte bars.

Overall

NEMESIS 4 is the worst film in the series. The main problem I had with the film is the pacing. Some scenes go on forever and would have benefitted by being cut down. Of course, this would mean that the film would have been much shorter than it is in its current state but I think the film would have been better for it. There are a lot of sex scenes too which threw me off. I have no problem with sex scenes. I just was not expecting them in this film. The film looks great but so do most of Albert Pyun's films.

The blu-ray is pretty nice. Good picture and sound with some nice extras. I am happy with this release.
