The Story of Ricky is one of those films that you heard about. It was like an urban legend. No one you knew had seen it, but somehow you were convinced that you had heard of it. Then, one day, you go to a video store that was little bit out of the way and there it is, in all of its glory. You take the film home and are disgusted, yet fascinated by what you saw. You watch it a second time and get past the overabundance of gore and you start to appreciate the film more and more. You end up telling everyone you know about the film and the crazy shit it had on display. Every time there is a new release of the film you have to buy it. That is The Story of Ricky.
