What's It About?

Alex again fighting the cyborg mercenaries in 1998 East Africa. This time, Alex finds that she has 20 half sisters who are waiting for her to return to 2077. Central Command wants Alex captured alive and scanned to see if her DNA is a strong and more powerful strain than the normal. But Alex may be too tough for Farnsworth to capture. Video/Audio

The good news is: it doesn't look like NEMESIS 3 was touched all that much by the DNR machine. There is a thin layer of grain and some de-noising was done but not too much. The film looks pretty good. Colors are strong with the golden hue of the desert being the stand out again like it was in the previous film. Detail is decent, especially in the close-ups. Overall, I liked this transfer.

Overall

You know, Albert Pyun (RIP) knew how to take a very small budget and turn in a film that looked amazing. His actors are also very willing to spend weeks in the desert and say a bunch of nonsense. He also gets fairly big names in the direct-to-video landscape with Tim Thomerson coming back into the fold after sitting out the previous film.

The blu-ray is pretty good too. The picture quality is better than I expected and the special features are pretty cool. It would have been nice to get a proper making of even if it was a franchise retrospective. I like this release and would recommend it to Pyun fans and 90s action fans.
