For the final 2023 list, I have saved the best for last, the best of the year that is. Here are my favorite ten films from 2023.

2023 was a pretty great year for physical media. We got so many great releases. We got SNAKE AND CRANE ARTS OF SHAOLIN ,  ICEMAN COMET ,  TWIN DRAGONS ,  and   BATTLECREEK BRAWL ,  from 88 Films,    SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE 1 and 2 ,  and   TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE: THE MOVIE  in 4K from Scream Factory, HOPPING MAD: THE MR. VAMPIRE SEQ…

My favorite list to make is the "Worst of" list which used to be really popular but seems to have become less so over the years (at least in mainstream media). This year there were a bunch of films that I didn't like along with a few I downright hated.

Arrow Video delivers yet another beautiful set with the Psycho Collection, which brings all four films (not the remake) to 4K blu-ray for the first time with spectacular results.

Two of the best shot-on-video movies I have ever seen, Attack of the Killer Refridgerator and The Hook of Woodland Heights, get a surprisingly nice blu-ray with a ton of special features that span the entire Media House Films filmography.

Dr. Giggles is one of my favorite slasher films from the 1990s and I was very excited when Scream Factory announced their blu-ray release. Does the release live up to the film?
