Child's Play Collector's Edition Coming to Blu-ray On October 18th From Scream Factory!!

Scream Factory has announced that it will be releasing Child's Play on blu-ray on October 18th as a part of their Collector's Edition series.

Of course, Child's Play is the film that brought us the killer Good Guy which houses the soul of serial killer Charles Lee Ray. Chucky spends the film trying to transfer his soul from the Good Guy doll into the body of young Andy.

The set is going to be a 2-disc affair including a brand new 2k transfer, as well as three commentary tracks (including a new one with director Tom Holland), select scene commentary with Chucky, a bunch of featurettes, the film's theatrical trailer, and more. Scream has also said that there will be more extras which will be announced at a later time.

I love the Child's Play series so this one is going to be a no-brainer. Hopefully, Scream will be able to get the whole series, or at the very least, Child's Play 2 and 3 as those are the only films in the series that have not gotten the special edition treatment.
